HAPPY TRAILS...

Monday, November 2, 2009

Oh yes. As I ride off into the sunset as it were, the old addage, 'Forget the horse, ride a cowboy' comes to mind. Sigh, can anyone make a sim of this guy? I am assuming since this is B & W, he has the palest of blue eyes. Maybe I will try when I get back.

Regardless, I would like to know who decided 'out there' that hairless chests are now the way to go? Maybe I am old school, but I like running my hand through soft, silky chest hair (not my own, obviously) My 9 years younger sister, curls her lip, she prefers the hairless look. Perhaps it is a generational thing.

But, hello? We have body hair? What do these guys do, take a bath in a tub of Nair? It must be a daily, bloody chore to keep that chest stubble free...a chore, I would happily sign up for.

I remember on the DVD commentary for 'The Mummy', they guy who played the mummy, Arnold Vosloo, said they had to give him a body shave every two days, this one woman was given the job. *snork*

Enough rambling...

No announcements, just I am away, leaving later this week, back sometime after December 6th.

Also, Thunder Valley is on permanent 'Hiatus.'

As we know with me, that could change at the drop of a hat, but for now, pause mode. Have not been in this neighborhood in close to two months, nor thought about it (strange considering the number of plots that race through my head)
Have a lot of Crime Story banked, that should keep me going update wise for quite a while when I get back. Have a few Blood Brotherhood chapters done. And I will probably do more with my Venators (hunters) sometime as well.

So until December, all the best~

Ha ha! Tub of nair? Certainly would be less painful than daily shaving! I always tease my husband that I'll wax him one day just so he understands what it's like....:D
I don't get it either, I mean it is sexy but so is a little hair, big deal. Unless it's like an animal coming out of their shirt, now that's too far for me! LOL.

Have fun while you're away, you'll be missed!

LOL!! Yes, going by my neighbor, out mowing the lawn this summer in an undershirt...you could have braided the hair on his back. EEWWWW~Too much!!

A little goes a long way.
Ok, I am going to share, I did a small wax strip on my husband's chest once so he could feel what it is like, when I pulled it off, he screamed (as in full-bore girly scream), tears coming out his eyes. No waxing for him. LOL!

Thanks Em!

LOL

I do like a little hair, it makes it look all more masculine... lol
but hey, if I had a guy like that one in front of me, hell, I wouldn't complain one bit!!! :D lol

about your neighbor, yikes! Disgusting!!

When I was still leaving Chicago I used to have such a handsome neighbor (he lived in front of my apartment, my living room window will face his balcony)
He had such a beautiful tan, beautiful blue/gren eyes, he was Brazilian mixed with Argentinian, but he really really did loook like a Greek God.

The best part is that every Sunday he would wash his balcony window just wearing some old jeans, and gosh... he looked sooo sinful, so tempting...

that was the most beautiful view I had in Chicago!!! and I would look forward to every Sunday afternoon just to stalk him while he did his chores!! :D (shame on me)
I just couldn't help it... I mean, I had to admire God's creation... not looking at him would have been like an offense of some kind.

Aww, how I miss Chicago!!! :D

OK I went completely off topic...
Sorry about that!

Have a wonderful time mate, enjoy your vacations and be safe!!
Take care and have fun!!!

PS. Your blog looks awesome!!!

Err...I don't see any happy trail...

LOL kidding! Gorgeous cowboy though, look at those shoulders, those arms, those pecs, those abs!

I hope your trip is relaxing, fun, and will look forward to seeing you when you get back!

We'll miss you.

Hope your trip is a lot of fun!

I don't get the hairless look either, but it's undoubtedly related to the bobybuilder thing. They can't oil up the guys if they have hair. I don't like it. It's not masculine.

Thanks SB.

Oiling up muscular men, another job I could sign up...cheers!

Gayl,

This model is the whole package to me, those lips, those eyes, those cheekbones (and eyebrows)...and yeah, the shoulders, pecs, arms and abs.
All that is missing is the dusting of hair on the chest.
How can one shave over those glorious peaks and valleys on his torso? Must be wax.

Cheers and thanks!

Sandy,

Your story was FANTASTIC!!

God, in all the places I have lived, NEVER had a neighbor like the one you described.

Of course, these types of guys KNOW they are Greek Gods, and flaunt it every chance they get. I say, 'You got it? Flaunt it.'

And thanks about the blog, I like to change colors every so many months, also decided to forgo a banner.

And cheers mate, you have a great trip too, and see you in January, cannot wait for you new story to begin!!

Have a good trip Karen!! As for the hairless look...

I don't like hairy guys! *shrug* Maybe it is a generation thing! I'm 27 and I've always been that way. LOL!!!

Take care!

You crack me up. :P

I prefer the hairless look myself. Chest hair actually grosses me out. Maybe that's because my father didn't really have any ... naturally! Neither does my husband, thank god!!

Happy trails, Karen.

~Drew said...

Thanks Saoz! *snicker*

Happy Trails! Now, if I can just get across Canada without any weather issues, I should be fine...

~Drew said...

Thanks Phoenix!

It could be a generational thing...and thanks so much, Cheers!!

~Drew said...

Ok, what can we conclude from this, the hairless look may or may not be a generational thing, it could be just aesthetics.

That I would, happily if given the chance, shave Greek Gods types from head to toe. *shaking can of Gillette*

That on the whole, some women prefer a little bit of hair on a man, as long as the guy does not look like a Wookie.

Cool.
Thanks guys, see you!

LOL! Tub of Nair!!! ok personally I prefer minimal to no hair, gotta love the Happy trail though, LOL! when they got a carpet that's so thick you cant see skin then well... ICK factor LOL!... OR when it covers his back shoulders neck and chest. Yeah I admit it I broke up with a guy cause it felt like hugging a bear...

hmmm I will try and make him... who knows how he'll come out but I will try 80) and gotta agree for a cowboy he's got it goin on, LOL!

♫ Happy Trails to you ♫

~Drew said...

Cherie,

Oh I would love if you tried to make 'Happy Trails', wow, no rush though, make sure he has pale blue eyes, dark, arching eyebrows, cheekbones you can slice paper on, full, sensuous lips...you get the picture! LOL!
And poor bear, you broke his heart...Maybe you should have suggested that bath in some Nair!

And thank you about the colours!

Cheers mate!!
