First, sorry I have been MIA, still not feeling 100%, but at least I can sit upright in front of a computer for a bit. I will get caught up on people's updates soon. Hopefully.
Working on Lucius story at my Blood Brotherhood blog, and I started to collect a few songs that will more or less guide the story, or at least flesh out Lucius character. (playlist below, gives you an idea as to Lucius story, I'm sure, and hey! I picked Three Canadian groups! Canadian rock...rocks!)
Even if no one even listens to these songs, it is a huge help to me, first, I love music, listen to it constantly as I play and/or write. And I don't just listen to hard rock, (though it is hard to tell from my selections) I love Blues, Classical Music, American Standards like from Frank Sinatra to name a few. Not to mention classic rock, esp from the 1960's (as reflected in my Crime Story Blog)

Here is Ray, Son of Julian, half-brother to Lucius, grandson to Raynor Nightwood. This sim was born in-game, and he turned out fine. He will have a small part in Lucius story.
Can I say just how much I am enjoying face overlays? I forget now which three emotions I picked for this look, (sorry!) But it works for what I was trying to convey. Maybe it is angry/confused/frown...LOL! Or is it angry/neutral/frown. Whatever.
Ok. I wonder if anyone will get this. Probably not.
This past spring while visiting my equally twisted younger brother, he introduced me to a set of graphic novels he owned called "Preacher". Dark, violent, unrelenting. I loved it. LOL! Above are my Sims versions of The Preacher, and his vampire sidekick as such, Cassidy.
A cover of one of the novels. Rumors had HBO doing a TV series of it, then there was to be a movie version. Seems its all in limbo now. The Preacher gets the eye patch later in the graphic novel. really, this is sick, twisted stuff. LOL!
Anyways, the one-eyed vicar and the Irish vampire will pop up now and then in Blood Brotherhood.
No update this weekend.

Ever have one of those days, where you did not feel like writing anything, anywhere, but just wanted to goof around in the game? Today was one of those days for me. Ronan, as you see, has his hands full.
A warning, the images contained therein are violent in its intent.
How did I get the above shot? By using the knife accessory that came with Gui 'Let it Bleed' Posebox, and using the "Never Invite a Vampire" posebox.
Ronan's weapon of choice is a knife, and even though he looks like he is carrying a kitchen knife around, I wanted to try and figure out some shots with him brandishing his steel.
I used a combo of poseboxes. Mixing it up some. Also not shown, I used the OMSP ground, get HERE
and if you have OFB, the magic tray is a plus. here is a link to the invisible one, great for poses.

Ok, the above shot? Put the knife in your sims hand, to get him to raise it, you may need to click on Gui's Let it Bleed Posebox,' Knife, arm attack,' THEN going to the Vampire box, Kneeling.
Ronan is the vampire. The other dude, the victim.
Again, Gui's knife in arm attack pose, then the vampire posebox, Ronan is stand, vampire pose 2
Victim is stand, pose 1. Ronan is on a OMSP ground.
I like the victim is grabbing his throat here, might be good with some photoshopped blood for that 'just sliced' look.

Gui's Let it Bleed posebox came with accessories that can be found under glasses, before posing, put the knife in your Sim's hand. Now, I used the Vampire pose box, Ronan is vampire stand, pushed to wall, the other sucker is victim, stand, pushed to wall. I stood Ronan on the OMSP ground to give him some height.
Hey, poseboxes ain't perfect, but as my buddy said, it beats taking 200 shots of in-game animations and picking out the closest shot. Sure, it looks 'posed', ah...it's a posebox? Believe me, I cursed them. But in situations like this, where no in-game animation exists, its perfect. And I have got pretty adept at whipping off the poses I need fairly quickly.
Anyway, back to this shot. Ronan is at it again. Knifing some poor shlub in the back. Again, Gui's knife (again, you MAY have to click on knife pose, arm attack, or not) then use the Vampire box, Victim stand, pose 1, Ronan is Vampire stand pose 3, you may have to move around on magictrays and/or boolprop 'snapobjectstogrid false' cheat to line it up.
This is "Never Invite a Vampire' Posebox Sitting, victim, chair, Ronan is the vampire/chair bite. Whoa, he looks like he is going to cut off his ear. A scene right out of Reservoir Dogs!
♪ Stuck in the middle with you...♪ Cool, but not what I am going for.
THIS is better, sat Joe Victim on the ground OMSP, put him back on the chair, and he is raised high enough for the knife to be touching throat. A little face overlay from the Modeling Posing overlay box Get HERE Surprise look and neutral.
Ronan is enjoying this FAR too much.
"Raise Your hands, up against the wall, dirt bag." This is actually from the Vampire Posebox. 'Standing, Victim, pushed to wall' Ideal for those moments in the street when you need to line up a bunch of scumbags to shake down.
This is the knife from Gui's 'let it Bleed' posebox. It is an accessory found under 'glasses', put it in the sims hand first, before you pose. Then, I used Tummy Za's Shooter Posebox find it HERE This is pose 5, I could have added a cigarette accessory for Ronan's other hand for better effect. For the story I will, I am sure.
Again, Ronan is holding 'Gui's knife', and using the Shooter Posebox again, this is Pose 2. Ronan is nonchalantly scratching his neck with his knife as he waits for his victim to come around the corner. Yikes.
"Please...Don't hit me anymore..." this is the in-game 'bowling fall' animation.
